Both
the John Smeaton and Kippax clubs were established in 1997 with, the
Ricall club being established shortly after. At the time, as far
as we could see, there were no other clubs operating in the area.
The clubs were established so students could learn the art
of self defence and they could, if needed, defend
themselves against attacks and, at the same time, have fun
learning. We firmly believe that these aims have been achieved
because all our clubs have been a great success - as you can see from
the length of time that the classes have been running and the
increasing numbers of students that now attend our classes.
All
our male and female black belt instructors are trained in child protection and
first aid.
