Shihan Mike, 5th dan ju jitsu, 1st dan judo

I started my martial arts journey in Scotland at the age of twelve when I took up Judo. After a long and glorious career in the RAF I settled in Leeds where I resumed my training in martial arts. I was a member of various Ju-jitsu clubs in the Leeds area with the last ten years at the Samurai Bujutsu Club with Sensei Patrick. In parallel I continued with my judo at Yorkshire Judo Association under Sensei Gary Don. I have trained with Renzo Gracie and followed the development of Martial Arts in the USA through the UFC, Vale Tudo in Brazil and Pride/Dream/K1 in Japan. Long may it continue.
